The fabulously varied landscape of the north of Israel offers endless options for extreme sports. For a bird’s eye view take off in a hot air balloon or for those even more adventurous, try sky diving or paragliding. Both will give you great views of the villages, kibbutzim and moshavim that dot the land, along with sites of history and the Bible. A little closer to the ground try rappelling from the magnificent Keshet Cave or in the Golan Heights. Come back to earth by foot or off-road vehicle with hiking, ATV, and jeep rides that allow you to be part of the landscape. Not satisfied? Try cave-crawling, spelunking, zip lines, off-road biking, rafting, and swimming in the Jordan River or on the Sea of Galilee.
